Georgia Project STP-M000-00(396), Newton County proposes to construct 2-ft. paved shoulders, on a portion of State Route 212 in Newton County. The proposed project would consist of the construction of 0.60 m (2 ft.) paved shoulders, left and right. The proposed project would begin at the intersection of State Route 212 and State Route 81, proceed in a southeasterly direction to end at the intersection of State Route 212 and State Route 36. The net length of this proposed project is 7.92 miles. All work would be accomplished within the existing right-of-way. No additional right-of-way will be required for implementation of this project.
