This is a bridge project, BRZLB-241(8), located in Rabun County. The bridge is on CR 47/ Old Franklin Highway and crosses Stekoa Creek. The existing structure is a 16-foot-wide by 29-foot-long bridge consisting of steel beams, concrete abutments, and a reinforced concrete deck. The existing right-of-way is 40 feet. The proposed project would replace the existing structure with 70 feet of triple 10-foot by 5-foot concrete bridge culvert. The new structure will be located approximately 100 feet upstream from the existing structure.
