This is an intersection improvement project located in Snellville in Gwinnett County, Georgia. The proposed project would begin approximately 430 feet north of the intersection with State Route (SR) 10/US 78 and Hewatt Road, and would proceed east following the existing funeral home driveway for approximately .16 mile before continuing new roadway alignment for approximately .16 mile to a proposed roundabout at the intersection with Parkwood Road. After the proposed roundabout, the project continues east on new roadway alignment for .15 mile to Westside Court
and then follows existing Westside Court for .05 mile. The proposed project then proceeds north on new alignment and turns to the east to follow the residential property line along Birchwood Trail before tying into existing Elmwood Circle and ending at an intersection with Britt Drive. While the proposed length of the project is .9 mile, the existing ROW varies in width from approximately 75 feet to 82 feet wide. The required ROW also varies in width from approximately 100 feet to 240 feet wide, with the larger required ROW located at the proposed traffic circle at Parkwood Road SW and the new proposed road corridor.
