Abstract

Georgia DOT Project BHF-017-1(24) is an in-place bridge widening project on State Route 1 over the Little Tallapoosa River in Carroll County. Because the project requires no additional right of way only areas which have been disturbed by previous bridge construction will be affected. For this reason, no archeological field inspection is necessary and the archaeological resources of the state will not be affected.
