The proposed project would construct an approximately 1.4-mile multi-use trail on the west side of Atlanta Road from Ridge Road to Spring Road/Concord Road in the City of Smyrna, Cobb County. The proposed project would construct an 8 to 10 feet (ft) wide multi-use path. The existing curb and gutter would remain along the project, and a minimum 2 ft butter would be maintained between the curb and the path. Project implementation would occur primarily within the existing right-of-way, which extends from 80 to 200 ft. A minimum of 10 ft of additional right-of-way would be required at various locations along the project corridor.
