Abstract

Georgia DOT project BHF-114-1(33) consist of widening the existing bridge over the Chestatee River on State Route 52 in Lumpkin County. Because the project will have no impacts upon areas not previously disturbed by construction of the existing bridge no archaeological field inspection is necessary. It is concluded that this project will have no effects upon the State's archaeological resources.
