The proposed project is located along SR 128 in Macon County, Georgia. The project consists of the replacement of the existing bridge located on SR 128 over Horse Creek. The bridge is located approximately 8 miles northeast of the city of Ideal. The proposed bridge consists of two 12-foot lanes with 6-foot shoulders. The approaching roadway would include two 12-foot lanes and 10-foot rural shoulders (4-foot paved). The project length would be approximately .16 mile. The project is in a preliminary concept phase and the proposed typical section has not yet been determined. The existing right-of-way (ROW) is 100 feet, and the proposed ROW would be determined as project plans develop.
