This project involves the construction of one-quarter to one half mile to provide an overpass over heavily used railroad tracks in Millen. There are three alternates (see attached map). The North Avenue alternate starts at U.S. 25 and North Avenue and extends east for approximately a quarter mile. The Barney Avenue alternate starts at U.S. 25 and Boy Scout Road and extends to Barney Avenue near the High School and ends at Barney Avenue and Gray Street (approximately one-half mile). The S.R. 17 alternate starts east of U.S. 25 and S.R. 17 and extends east along S.R. 17 for approximately a quarter mile.
