Abstract

This is a survey for a proposed borrow pit within the rights of way of the proposed Carrollton By-Pass north of SR 166. The area to be borrowed is a 14 acre tract which is already owned by the state and fenced. The topography consists of two ridges running east and divided by a natural drainage (now a sewer line). The southern most ridge, that nearest SR 166, has been disturbed in the past by demolition and grubbing and clearing. A large amount of ground surface has been revealed as a result of these activities and these areas were carefully inspected.
