The proposed project consists of the installation of a ramp metering system for the I-75 northbound entrance ramps from Northside Drive, Howell Mill Road, Moores Mill Road, West Paces Ferry Road and Mt. Paran Road. The ramp metering system on each ramp shall be equipped with three section signal heads, cycled for approximately two seconds (green), two seconds (yellow) and four seconds (red) resulting in a total of eight seconds per cycle or a rate of 7.5 vehicles per minute. Each location would be designed for one metered lane.
