Abstract

The subject property is located at 347 GA Highway 240 (GA-240), Ellaville, Schley County, Georgia 30806, at coordinates 32°19'05.73" N, 84°17'16.83" W. The proposed project consists of the construction of a new self-support telecommunications tower and associated equipment within a 100-foot by 100-foot lease area. The total height of the proposed installation, including appurtenances, is approximately 255-feet. The project will be accessible via a proposed 30-foot wide access easement that extends approximately 75 feet west and then approximately 900 feet north from the lease area to where it connects with GA Highway 240. The entire project footprint was included in the survey as well as a 50-foot buffer around the proposed lease area and access easement (Photographs 1-12). The APE for this undertaking includes all areas discussed above. In July 2019, JMT received revised drawings for the proposed project, which is described above. Revisions included an approximately 175-foot shift southwest of the prior lease area and an extension of the proposed access easement, extending from the prior southern extent of the easement approximately 150 feet south to where it intersects with the revised lease area (see Figure 1 and Figure 2).
