Abstract

The project consists of paving of two feet of existing shoulder on each side of CR 197 within the proposed project limits and resurfacing the roadway for a total length of 0.56 miles, all within existing rights-of-way. All work under this project will be conducted on the existing front slopes and shoulders of the roadways.

No work under this project will occur beyond the toe of slope of the front slope. All appropriate erosion control measures as determined by the standard specifications and by the Engineer shall be implemented on this project, in order to prevent sedimentation from this project. All waste associated with this project will either be disposed of by spreading along the existing front slopes, not to occur beyond the toe of slope, or by

removal to an approved waste site. It is important to note that should the contractor choose to specify a waste site not already approved, that approval will occur through the Department's standard waste site approval process, requiring a maximum of six weeks.
