Abstract

Trileaf Corporation is in the process of completing a NEPA Review at the above referenced property. This project was originally submitted to your office for review on February 27, 2019, HP-190304-004. A letter dated April 2, 2019 was received from your office, stating that no historic or archaeological resources that are listed or eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places will be affected by this undertaking. Since the time of your review, the project has undergone revisions to avoid a wetland area identified near the project site. The proposed tower has moved 43 feet northeast of the original location with a ground elevation change from 194.6 feet to 194.8 feet. The coordinates have changed from 31° 12’ 30.71” N, 84° 55’ 57.11” W to 31° 12’ 31.00” N, 84° 55’ 56.74” W. The proposed 30-foot wide access/utility easement will shift slightly to accommodate the tower location change; the previous easement was proposed to travel south-southeast and then northeast, joining GA HWY 39. The revised easement will travel generally southeast from the tower location, joining GA HWY 39. The proposed street address, tower height, and the associated equipment compound size have remained the same. No other revisions are proposed.

Coordinates: Original Revised 31° 12’ 30.71” N, 84° 55’ 57.11” W. Revised 31° 12’ 31.00” N, 84° 55’ 56.74” W. Ground Elevation: 194.6 ft. 194.8 ft.

An updated archaeological survey has been prepared for the site, and is enclosed within; as noted in this survey, the proposed determination for the site has remained No Historic Properties are in the APE for Direct Effects, and No Historic Properties in the APE for Visual Effects. It is recommended that the proposed undertaking proceed without further archaeological review.
