Abstract

Project BRSLB-810(11) would consist of the replacement of GD0T Bridge #11 l/00810/00184N on County Road 222 over the Toccoa River on new location (see Figure 2). A short portion of County Road 222 would be relocated to accommodate the bridge structure. The project would begin approximately 0.14 mile southwest of the existing bridge on County Road 222 and would end north of the Toccoa River at County Road 4. The existing bridge is a Warren pony truss with verticals which measures 121 in width by 132 1 in length. It would be removed and replaced by a concrete and steel deck structure measuring 241 in width. The proposed 1ength of the new bridge has not been determined at this time.

Right-of-way varies from approximately 801 to 2001 and would be provided by the County. Project cost is estimated at $190,000 (bridge section only) of which eighty percent would be Federally funded with the remaining twenty percent being funded by the State.
