Abstract

In July 2007, TRC Environmental Corporation (TRC) completed an archaeological reconnaissance survey of a proposed multi-use bicycle and pedestrian path on the grounds of Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) (Figure 1). The project was conducted on behalf of Arrowood Environmental Group, Inc. (Arrowood). The project corridor consists of an approximately 1.0-mile long by 15-ft wide pedestrian trail along the southeast boundary of AASU. The project corridor begins just south of the Fine Arts Building and heads south along University Drive. The corridor enters a wooded area south of Parking Lot 4 and then heads southeast following the course of Roger Warlick Drive. The corridor ends at the athletic fields and tennis courts near the intersection of Roger Warlick Drive and Windsor Road (Figure 1).
