The Interstate project 75 will in Lowndes consist of and Cook widening counties. existing A total concrete of 12 bridges on will be widened in the north and south bound lanes. This work will be done to bring the bridges up to interstate geometric design standards. All work will be within the existing R-0-W, on areas which have been previously disturbed during the original construction of Interstate 75. It is anticipated that no significant archaeological sites will be found in the project's area. Attached are two county maps showing the location of the subject projects.
