In accordance with the Parks and Historic Sites Capital Outlay Projects SFY 83 planned development, an archaeological survey was carried out at Cloudland Canyon State Park on August 23 and 24, 1982. Proposed development consists of an office/control Building (Project #8-180), eight cottages (Project #8-750), a family/group shelter (Project #8-766) and the conversion of camping to day use area. The day use location was not examined due to existing improvements in the area. Because the three remaining project areas within Cloudland Canyon State Park were in three individual parcels, archaeological examination of each parcel was approached with a separate and distinct method.
