On behalf of our client, Terracon Consultants, Inc. (Terracon) conducted an archaeological survey for the proposed Loblolly telecommunications site. The fieldwork was performed on October 3, 2020. Based on this fieldwork, there is one newly recorded archaeological site, 9DY76, within the project area. The site is recommended as being ineligible for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). Based on this evaluation, there are no historic properties within the area of potential effects (APE) for direct effects. No further work is recommended at this time.
