In accordance with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Low Impact Bridge Program (LIBP), a bridge has been identified as a candidate for replacement on General John B Gordon Road at Gin Creek, located in Macon County (Figure 1). The existing bridge on General John B Gordon Road (Bridge ID No. 193-5011-0) was constructed in 1965 and spans a segment of Gin Creek. The existing bridge will be replaced on the current alignment with minimal easements, if needed. Existing right-of-way (ROW) along this section of General John B Gordon Road is 80 feet (ft) (24.4 meters [m]).
