The subject property for the project is located at 499 Rice Farm Rd, Du Pont, Clinch County, GA 31630, at coordinates 30°58’41.31” N, 82°53’41.07” W (Figures 1 and 2; Photographs 1-10). The project proposes the construction of a new self-support telecommunications tower and associated equipment within a fenced compound within a 100ft-by-100ft lease area. The proposed tower has an estimated height of 305ft, including all appurtenances. The project will be accessible via a 30ft-wide access and utility easement that extends 75ft south from the project area and then 1952ft east and then 400ft north to where it becomes Rice Farm Road which intersects with Highway 84. The total project area measures approximately 1.9 acres (1.76 hectares).
