Abstract

The proposed off-system safety project would install Rectangular Rapid Flash Beacons (RRFBs) on three city streets in the city of Atlanta along Hollywood Road NW at its intersections with Arno Drive NW and Brooks Avenue NW, and Lowery Boulevard at Washington Place in Fulton County, Georgia (Figures 1 and 2). In addition to RRFBs, the project would install curb extension/protection and a storm water planter at Lowery Boulevard at Washington Place. All work would take place within the existing right-of-way (ROW), which measures between 50-60 feet in width.

Because of the nature and scope of the undertaking, the APE is limited to the existing ROW of the proposed project, within which all construction and ground disturbing activity would be confined.
