Abstract

During the period of October 3 through 17, 2007, R.S. Webb & Associates (RSWA) conducted a cultural resources reconnaissance survey of a 150-acre modern golf course (i.e., the project area) in Dekalb County, Georgia. The golf course will be converted into a mitigation bank site. Because the project area has been significantly disturbed by previous golf course construction activities, it was decided that a reconnaissance-level field survey would be appropriate for this project. The project area is bisected by Snapfmger Woods Drive, north of Interstate 20 between Wesley Chapel Road and Panola Road on the USGS Redan, Georgia quadrangle (Figure 1).
