The proposed project consists of traffic signal upgrades at four intersections along SR 14 in Coweta County. The project would improve the overall efficiency and safety of traffic flow due to upgraded traffic signal displays and state-of-the-art traffic signal control equipment and provide better signal coordination through new signal interconnection cable. It would also improve pedestrian safety with improved crosswalk, pedestrian signals, and sidewalk ramps where appropriate. The intersections include: 1) SR 14 @ Nimmons Street; 2) SR 14 @ Powell Street; 3) SR 14/34 @ SR 16/Clark Street; 4) SR 14/Jackson Street at SR 16/Clark Street.
