Abstract

The Oconee District of the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest plans to build a 7 acre shooting range in the southwestern comer of Putnam County, Georgia. The project is located in Compartment 141, Stands 4 and 9, on a northeast facing slope above Rock Creek. The area is accessible from a paved county road to the east, known as the Bradley Road (Figure 1).
