The proposed project is along Alpharetta Street/SR 9 in Roswell, Georgia, just north of Norcross Street and just south of Holcomb Bridge Road. The proposed project involves potential modifications to the existing highway's typical section to improve safety and better accommodate bicycles. The proposed project would also make improvements to the roadside environment that may include some or all of the following: new curbs and sidewalks, relocated utility poles and signage, new landscaping and street furniture, pedestrian lighting, improved pedestrian crossing features at intersections, signalization, aesthetic improvements and access management improvements.
