Abstract

The proposed project would consist of the replacement of the existing bridge on State Route 11 at Scott Creek approximately 1.7 miles south of Bethlehem, Georgia (see attached location map). The new bridge would be located just east of the existing bridge. The proposed project would require the acquisition of 20 additional feet of right-of-way to the east of the existing right-of-way, bringing the total width to 120 feet. Improvements would also be made to the approach road on either side of the proposed bridge. The total length of the improvements, including the bridge would be ca. 2950 feet (900 meters).
