Abstract

Cultural Resource Services, Inc. conducted a cultural resource survey of the Covington, Newton County, Georgia 201 Wastewater Facilities addition on June 21, 1980. Surface examination and shovel testing of the 296.5 acre survey area produced no evidence of prehistoric or historic cultural remains. The facilities addition is recommended for clearance from an archaeological perspective.
