Parks, Recreation, and Historic Sites Division of Georgia Dept. of Natural Resources proposes construction of a dump station near the horse trail campground and facilities at the north end of Watson Mill State Park, near Carlton. The survey was conducted on the morning of October 19, 2004. Based on results of this and other surveys in the area, construction of the dump station will have no effect on significant archaeological resources and no further investigation is recommended.
