Abstract

This proposed project was surveyed and concurrence received in October 2001, and reevaluated with concurrence received in October of 2003. The original project consists of shoulder widening, horizontal curve straightening, and minor intersection realignments at the intersection of SR 106 and Sanford Road in Madison County, Georgia. Existing right-of-way on SR 106 is 80' with an additional 5 to 150' of additional right-of-way and easements required for this project. The reevaluation consisted of moving the proposed new intersection of SR 106 and Sanford Road northeast of its original proposed intersection. In addition, 230' of easements and new right-of-way were added to the north end of the project.
