The proposed project would consist of the widening of approximately 1800 feet of the viaduct located on Interstate 85/SR 403 North to accommodate a 300 foot taper and a 1500 foot auxiliary lane. Total project length is approximately 2500 feet. All proposed work would be done within existing right-of-way. An archaeological survey consistent with the project description was conducted for the entire length of the project corridor.
