Abstract

Original: The proposed project would also involve the realignment of SR 216 east of its current location for a distance of approximately 4,192 feet. As a result, the new bridge structure would be located approximately 85 feet east of the current bridge. In addition, the existing at-grade railroad crossing of the Georgia Southwestern Railroad with SR 216 would be relocated approximately 95 feet east of its current location. The proposed bridge would be approximately 100 feet long by 40 feet wide. Revised: The proposed project length has decreased by approximately 75 feet. New right-of-way would be required on the west and east sides of SR 216 (south of the railroad). The required right-of-way would increase along the east side of SR 216 (south of the railroad). The required right-of-way would decrease along the east side of SR 216 and increase along the west side (north of the railroad).
