The proposed project would consist of the construction of a 2000-ft. left turn lane on the north and south sides of the intersection of State Route 21 and State Route 307 in the city of Savannah (see attached location map). The project also includes the extension of the left turn lane south of the intersection along State Route 21. Existing right-of-way along State Route 21 is approximately 150-ft. Existing right-of-way along State Route 307 is approximately 130-ft. All construction and ground-disturbing activity would occur within the existing right-of-way.
