A short form for negative findings for Phase I Archaeological Survey of the Signal Improvements at Intersections along SR 5/Canton Highway, Cherokee County, Georgia. The project is located on the Canton Quadrangle. The Phase I archaeological survey of the SR 5 Business Signal Sequencing Project, Canton, Cherokee County entailed the survey of a corridor 1.21 miles in length. The project area began at Waleska Road (Figure 2A) and ended at Reinhardt College Parkway (Figure 3B). The corridor includes the replacement of signals at four intersections and will run conduit along the existing right-of-way, under existing sidewalk. The study corridor extends 30 feet from the pavement edge on the south side of SR 5 and 20 feet on the north.
