Abstract

The originally proposed project was surveyed and concurrence received in October 2003. This project has been changed from the original concept in order to eliminate impacts to an eligible historic resource. The substandard curve at the SR 203/CR 309 intersection is proposed to be replaced with a 4-way aligned intersection, with a stop-turn situation, instead of the originally proposed flattening of the existing curve. The existing right-of-way is 80', with approximately 10' to 100' of new right-of-way required. The total length of this project is 1000 feet. No existing or eligible National Register resources were located on archeological sites within the proposed project's APE. It is concluded, therefore, that the project will have no effect upon archeological resources on or eligible for inclusion in the NRHP provided that the project conforms to that described above.
