Phase I Archaeological Survey of the Jester's Creek Pedestrian Pathway System, City of Morrow, Clayton County, Georgia

Abstract

New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed impact area surrounding Jester's Creek and portions of Reynolds Road in Clayton County. Following background research, a pedestrian survey of the corridor was conducted on March 14, 2005. Areas subjected to previous construction activities, landscaping, or cutting and filling, and all activities with the potential to destroy archaeological sites were noted along the project corridor. At total of 46 shovel test pit locations were examined within the project area. No artifacts were recovered from the shovel test pits.
