Abstract

The design plans have been revised and the project length is now approximately 2,727 feet. This represents a reduction in project length of approximately 13 feet. The proposed bridge would be 235 feet long and 44 feet wide. The previous CE and Reevaluation proposed a 200-foot long bridge. In addition, a 25-foot wide easement is proposed along the southern required right-of-way limit for approximately 1,500 feet. This easement is to accommodate a Georgia Power Company transmission line that will be located within the proposed right-of-way. The easement is needed in order to provide access to the utility. Some tree limbs may need to be cut in this area to keep them from impeding into the power line, but no digging should occur in this area.
