Abstract

A preliminary appraisal of cultural resources in Georgia Veterans Memorial State Park was made to provide information for the preparation of a policy statement for the park. Research indicates considerable potential for cultural resources, prehistoric and historic, in the park. Two historic sites, a set of racetracks and a house site, were recorded during the one-day field visit.
