Abstract

On 17-18 December 1980, the author accompanied four Department of Natural Resources wildlife and recreation specialists on a tour of four wildlife management areas proposed for purchase by the state. The object was to evaluate the established purchase priorities. Five archaeological sites were recorded and several structures were noted. Insufficient data exists for assessment of significance. From the author's perspective priorities 1 and 3 should be reversed and 2 and 4 left unchanged.
