The proposed project was originally surveyed with concurrence received in 1996, then reassessed in 2002, 2003, and 2005 with concurrence received each time. The original project remains the same except for the following: the eastern terminus of the SR 72 widening project has been extended 1,900' in order to provide continuity for the SR 72 route. All work for the revised section will take place within the existing right-ofway with no new right-of-way required. No existing or eligible National Register resources were located within the project's area of potential environmental effect.
