Abstract

This proposed project consists of the replacement of the bridge on SR 36 over Yellow Water Creek approximately 0.76 mile north of the City Limits of Jackson, Georgia. An on-site detour will be constructed east of the existing bridge in order to maintain traffic flow on SR 36 while the bridge is replaced in-place. The existing right-of-way on SR 36 is approximately 100' with approximately 65' of temporary easement required for the construction of the on-site detour, and approximately 10' to 30' of new right-of-way required for the implementation of this project. Total project length is approximately 2,170'. No existing or eligible National Register resources were located within the project's area of potential environmental effect.
