Provide traffic signal plans for the upgrade of nine existing traffic signal installations in the City of Douglas, Coffee County. The work will include installing new and replacement signalization equipment, modifying curbs to enhance pedestrian access and modifying (by adding and/or removing) signing and pavement markings. Additional site specific modifications include: Intersection 3. Concrete bulb outs in NW and SW quadrants Intersection 4. Concrete bulb outs in NW and SW quadrants and trench grate in NW quadrant. Intersection 7. Concrete island for north bound left turn lane and southern median to be widened. Intersection 8. Concrete bulb outs in NE and SW quadrants and modify drainage structure in SW quadrant. Intersection 9. Concrete bulb out in NE quadrant and header curb in NW quadrant adjacent to gas station.
