Addendum to Phase I Archaeological Survey of Columbia Drive, Covington Highway and Mountain Industrial Boulevard Signal Design Project Areas, DeKalb County. The proposed project would consist of traffic signal upgrades at 34 intersections within DeKalb County, Georgia. The project would improve the overall efficiency and safety of traffic flow due to upgraded traffic signal displays and state-of-the-art traffic signal control equipment and provide better signal coordination through new signal interconnection cable and improve pedestrian safety with improved crosswalk, pedestrian signals and sidewalk ramps where appropriate. Reconnaissance of all project areas. No shovel tests were excavated as the project areas have been previously disturbed by road, driveway, parking lot, and sidewalk construction and by grading and landscaping. No sites are reported in the APE.
