Abstract

The project is located in west central McDuffie County, northwest of Thomson, Georgia. A new interchange is proposed for the existing Three Points Road and Interstate 20. The ramps for this interchange were previously surveyed (Joseph and Edwards 2003). A proposed driveway was added to the project to provide access for an otherwise landlocked undeveloped adjacent lot. The project Area of Potential Effect is confined to the right of way of the proposed driveway. This driveway is approximately 370 m (1200 ft) long and 30 m (100 ft) wide along a new right of way. It is L-shaped, with a 90` bend alter the first 90 m (300 ft) on the southern end. All impacts should he restricted to this proposed right of way.
