Abstract

This report covers the Cultural Resource Survey of an 11-acre tract in northwestern Stephens County near the intersection of Highway 123 and the Southern Railway crossing. The terrain was heavily eroded, covered with young pines, and had been treated to control erosion some 12 to 18 months ago. Careful examination of the surface and sub-surface throughout the tract indicated no cultural resources to be found. No effect on the cultural resources should be expected from the proposed exchange.
