Abstract

The proposed project involves the construction of a multi-use trail along the west side of SR 74 in Peachtree City, Georgia. The proposed trail would be constructed between the proposed box culvert south of the northern entrance to the Baseball and Soccer Complex and continue north to the north entrance of Cooper Circle. The trail will follow along the westerly ROW of SR 74 to minimize additional ROW impacts in the area. The trail would be a paved 10-foot wide structure with a two-foot wide grass strip on either side. The trail would be constructed in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The proposed trail would be approximately 0.86 mile long. Approximately 2.08 acres of permanent easement would be required to construct the multi-use trail.
