Abstract

The proposed project area consists of variable six-foot to 1'2-foot shoulders with intermittent variablewidth sidewalks and curb and gutter. The existing right-of-way varies between approximately 105 feet to 215 feet in width. The proposed project would develop an Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) for the City of Columbus. The proposed project would serve as a companion project to Project NH-00TS(48), which would design a Traffic Control Center to monitor and operate the ATMS. Project NH-OOTS(47) would provide the communication cable and field devices that interface with the proposed Traffic Control Center. The APE for the project includes everything within the proposed construction project length and within the maximum extent of the existing right-of-way as described above.
