Abstract

This addendum is only for the Barge Road at Campbellton Road Intersection Improvements portion of the project: The southbound approach of Barge Road would be restriped to improve visibility of lane divisions. In addition, the turning radius of westbound Campbellton Road onto northbound Barge Road would be improved and increased to a 50' R to accommodate a right-turn drive lane for larger vehicles. The other 3 turning corners will also be improved for easier turning movements. The existing signal system will be upgraded to a mast-arm installation. Pedestrian-friendly sidewalks, crosswalks, and ramps would be constructed at the intersection to promote pedestrian safety. Advance warning signs and sight-distance limitations will be provided for southbound and northbound approaches of Barge Road. The APE for the project includes everything within the proposed construction project length and within the maximum extent of the existing and required right-of-way as described above.
