TRC Garrow Associates was contracted by P.J. Carey and Associates to carry out a Phase I archaeological survey of the 92-acre tract slated for the proposed expansion of the Pine Ridge Sanitary Landfill in Butts County, Georgia. This survey consisted of background research, as well as field investigations to identify all archaeological resources within the project area. The archaeological survey was carried out March 28-30, 2000, and resulted in the identification of six sites and two isolated finds.
