Since the time of the approved Programmatic Categorical Exclusion on October 24, 2006, several design changes have been made. Previously, the proposed project required 2.50 acres of right-of-way and no temporary or permanent easement. Design changes would now require approximately 3.73 acres of right-of-way and 1.04 acres of temporary easement. In addition, the project limits along Cumbie Road have been extended. Previously, the proposed relocated Cumbie Road tied into the existing Cumbie Road 300 feet from its intersection with CR 837/Sandy Flat Road. Due to design changes, relocated Cumbie Road would now tie into existing Cumbie Road 467 feet from its intersection with CR 837/Sandy Flat Road. Furthermore, the design of relocated Cumbie Road has been altered to provide less curvature in the roadway.
