Cultural Resources Survey of the Herring Exchange Tract, Towns County, Georgia

On July 12-13, 1982, a cultural resource survey was conducted on the proposed Herring Exchange Tract in Towns County, Georgia. The field reconnaissance including subsurface testing on this 362-acre tract located one early 20th century house site, one prehistoric site and one large rock pile. Further investigations at these sites will be necessary prior to the land exchange.
